Cesis Castle complex is partially accessible for people with disabilities.
In the territory of the Medieval castle you can reach the castle garden, craftsmen’s workshops and the medieval kitchen garden by wheelchair.
Cesis History and Art Museum can be reached up to the 4th floor by an elevator.
Facilities for people with reduced mobility are available at the visitor center.
For more convenient access, it is possible to drive to the door of the castle visitor center (Pils laukums 9), by calling +371 26576111 in advance.

Cesis Castle complex is partially accessible with a stroller.
With a stroller you can reach the castle garden, craftsmen’s workshops, the medieval kitchen garden and activity area.
To see the towers of the Medieval Castle and Cesis History and Art Museum, we recommend leaving the stroller in the visitor center.
A children’s changing surface is available in the visitor center.

It is allowed to park the car of the newlyweds on their wedding day by the entrance of the castle by calling +371 26576111 in advance.

There is no separate parking lot for guests by the Cesis Castle complex. You can park your car for free anywhere in the city.
We remind you that in the Old Town on weekdays it is allowed to park the car for a limited time (1-2h),  leaving a note by the windshield.
