Cēsis castle open to visitors

We are pleased to announce that starting from May 16 Cēsis Castle complex will be open to visitors!

Cēsis History and Art Museum will display the first two floors of the exposition, the Western Tower of the Medieval Castle with the multimedia exhibition “The Story of Cesis Castle”, the kitchen garden of the Medieval Castle and the Exhibition Hall.

We inform You that the Medieval Activity center, the family room of the Cēsis History and Art Museum, the activity backpack for families and the candlelight are temporarily unavailable to visitors. The Lademaher Tower of the New castle will be open to visitors in the coming weeks.

Working hours in May:

• Wednesday – Sunday – 10:00 – 18:00
• Monday and Tuesday – closed.

It is important to know for group visits!

Maximum number of visitors allowed at a time:

• Cēsis History and Art Museum exposition – 25;
• Medieval castle and garden – 25;
• In the Exhibition hall -25.

Visit for groups by prior arrangement only (up to 25 people).
